The 'Burlesque' soundtrack album has been certified Gold by the RIAA!The soundtrack album 'Burlesque: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack' by Cher and Christina Aguilera was certified Gold by the RIAA last week.
The album, which features tracks by the two stars of the movie 'Burlesque' was released on November 22, 2010 by RCA Records. The album debuted at number 18 on the US Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Top Soundtrack Albums chart.
Last week, the successful album was certified Gold by the RIAA, denoting sales of over 500,000 copies in the US.
The album had previously been certified Gold in Australia, where it reached #2, and in Canada.
