Cher Chomps Through Two Chocolatey Cakes At Chaz's 45th Birthday Celebrations

Yesterday, 4 March, Cher's eldest son Chaz Bono celebrated his 45th Birthday amongst friends and family at Cher's Malibu home.

Cher tweeted to her 2-million Twitter followers during the day, "Got to go, it's Chaz's birthday dinner and everybody is here." Among the guests were Cher's younger sister Georganne LaPiere and long-time gal pal Paulette Howell.

Chaz himself took to the social networking site before the day's end to thank his followers for their birthday greetings: "Hey guys, thanks so much for all the birthday greetings today!"

Alongside the tweet, the now-45-year-old actor, author and activist tweeted a photograph of the event featuring himself, Cher and several of the other attendees:

During a brief Q&A with her Twitter followers today, one fan asked the 'Moonstruck' star mom, "Did you have a good time last night?" Cher answered, "Had a brilliant time until the two Hansen cakes. Chaz likes vanilla cake with chocolate icing. I like chocolate cake with chocolate chip icing. I ate both".
